- How to travel further with a pass/coupon tickets:
- Pass: If you
travel further than the original route, you only pay the fare for the
additional segment of the route at your destination. For example, if you
get on a bus at Tomigaoka with a pass for between Tomigaoka and ATR and get off
at Shin-hosono beyond ATR, you put the pass on the card reader as usual and put
290 yen into the fare box next to a driver, or if your card stores the prepaid
card function and there is enough money left then 250 yen is taken
automatically from the remaining balance when you put the pass on the card
reagder at Shin-hosono.
- How to get on and off
- Put a CI-CA card on a card reader, or pick up a numbered ticket (整理券 seiriken) without a CI-CA card.
- Press a button just before the bus stop you want to get off in order to ask the driver to stop.
- Put a CI-CA card on a card reader or drop coins with your
numbered ticket in a fare box next to the driver, and get off.
