Since the start of the Keihanna Research Complex project in October 2016, it has built a global innovation collaboration network with 31 domestic and overseas innovation promotion organizations in 19 countries, covering Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East/North Africa region. Based on this network, and leveraging the strengths of Keihanna Science City, such as the scientific and technological capabilities of leading global research institutions and companies, its function as a PoC friendly city with resident participation, and its international character—it has established an open innovation promotion platform, including the global startup support program “KGAP+,” and is working on the development of a global innovation ecosystem in Keihanna Science City.
